Sweet Sixteen

Not sure how it happened but kitti girl, Chantilly Rose turned sweet 16 yesterday. She has been such a source of joy and comfort in my life. It is hard to see her get older, not quite as agile as she use to be. She also had a doctor visit and lost another half pound which is huge for a cat. Her current weight is 4.5 lbs. She had another thyroid test and it indicated she needed medicine. Supposedly this is common in elderly cats. She had a big birthday party for her first birthday and I wanted to have one for her sweet sixteen but it didn't happen. Getting ready for a trip to Iowa to play with the girls, friends, that is. HAPPY BIRTHDAY FLUFFY BUTT!!!!!

princess adventure in Orlando

What a great week!!!!! This was our 4th Princess Adventure. The only thing different this time is that we let grandpa come. He was our driver, cook and wallet. After just getting over the flu it was great having his help. The weather could not have been better. I am going to give a brief overview of all the fun we had and then lots of pictures. Swimming is always the main event with Madison. She did hundreds and I am not exaggerating, of perfect handstands. She did sand art, scrapbooked her week, online art classes with grandma, made ice cream sundaes by the pool, bingo, hula hoop contest, dominos, finished a gigantic Where's Waldo book (we both love doing that.) We ate at a few nice restaurants, saw Winter from the movie Dolphin Tale, went to the Peabody Hotel to see the ducks march out from the fountain, played mini golf at Pirates Cove, did a swamp boat ride and saw alligators. And my favorite was a trip to the scrapbook store. Now for photos.
